Sister Jovita MacPherson describes her ministry, Director of Vocation Process as challenging and a privilege. She enjoys assisting her congregation in carrying out its option for young people and the development of a vocation culture. It is inspiring for her to meet women who are discerning if they are being called to religious life.

Sister Jovita brings a rich background to this role. She has been a teacher, high-school/university chaplain and a member of the congregation leadership team. Presently she also serves on the national team of the Canadian Association of Vocation and Formation Directors. She holds a Master of Arts in Pastoral Ministry from Boston College. She enjoys swimming and the outdoors.
