Celebrating and Deepening our Consciousness of Connectedness

Since the 17th century we humans have been living out of a dualistic mindset, and felt we were separate and a little bit above the rest of creation. Science today has challenged this understanding with the discoveries that all creation came from one single source of energy, (called the "Big Bang" Theory,) that everything on Earth has been created from star dust, and that at the level of atoms and DNA, human life is made from the same matter as everything else. On a more obvious level we are waking up to the fact that all living creatures share the same air and water, and have need for space. We are being invited to realize that everything in the Universe is interrelated, interconnected and interdependent. It requires a major shift in our consciousness to live out of the truth that everything exists in Oneness and Wholeness.

Being in relationship helps us open to the truth of interconnectedness and begins to shift our consciousness. To aid this transition we:

  • built a Contemplative Trail through our woods and fields to help us immerse ourselves in nature. This trail is open for public use.
  • bought a golf cart to take our sisters who find it difficult to walk, out into the gardens
  • developed a workshop called "Shifting World View" to help people experience the difference between a mechanistic world view and an organic world view.
