Using the story of Jacob wrestling with God as a backdrop, Joan Chittister reflects on her own experience of disappointment and loss as the birthplace of hope. Touching on issues familiar to most of us, she explores the many dimensions of suffering in a movement toward transformation.

 Facilitator: Loretta Gillis, csm has a background in spirituality, nursing education and mental health. Loretta holds a masters degree in nursing education and mental health. She graduated from Regis College with a diploma in spirituality and spiritual direction. She has recently returned from St.Kitts, West Indies where she worked in parish ministry and spiritual direction. She is presently director of Martha Retreat Centre.

Cost: $20. plus the cost of the book
