Theme: Jesus, the Prince of Peace

Presenter: Ron Mercier, sj

The retreat will explore Jesus’ proclamation of a Reign of Peace, especially through  his Passion, Death, and Resurrection. Through prayer with the texys of Scripture, we will seek to hear how God invites us to be a people of peace in a era of violence.

Fr Ron Mercier, a Jesuit of the New England Province, is Assoc. Professor of Christian Ethics in the University of Toronto. He serves now as Director of the Jesuit Collaborative, a spirituality initiative of three U.S. Jesuit Provinces. An experienced spiritual director in U.S., Canada, and Ireland, his current focus in on how the Holy Spirit shapes our lives, our church, our culture in a rapidly changing society.
